 Welcome to the Immaculate Heart Academy Art Program!

 Intro to Art serves as a foundation course in the art program. The course is designed to meet the needs of a variety of student interests and abilities.

The course integrates the following areas:

• Art History
• Studio Skills
• Art Criticism Writings
• Aesthetic Aspects of Art

 Grading in this course is divided into the following categories:

• Projects        50%
• Tests            25%
• Homework    15%
• Sketchbook   10%

You will need the following supplies for this class:

           2 Pocket Folder to hold all handouts

          Pencils for class everyday

          Smock or Apron

          9X12 spiral  sketchbook

          12 inch ruler

        Sharpie markers in a variety of sizes

          Glue stick
