Summer Laptop Repairs

Any student who reimaged over the summer must rename her laptop by Fri Sept.
It must be done while at IHA.

 Reimaging sheet for Juniors and Seniors (available at IHA)

 Reimaging sheet for Sophomores (available at IHA)

Only IHA laptops will be permitted on the IHA network.
 Do not bring non-IHA laptops to the school.  They will be banned.

Students whose laptops have been repaired may pick up during the times below or wait until the first day of class.
 

Wed Aug 31 8am - noon   1pm - 2pm
Thur Sept 1 8am - 9pm - (many meetings)
Fri Sept 2 - Mon Sept 5 Away on Vacation
Tue Sept 6 Free from 11:30 - 3pm

 

If you prefer, you can handle hardware repairs yourself by calling 1-800-IBM-SERV.

If the laptop refuses to turn on (NO LEDs, seems completely dead), remove AC adapter, remove battery, hold power button down for 10 seconds, reinsert AC and try again.

If your profile (eg. 10SmiMar ) does not fully load, log on as home (no password).

If display is cracked and/or unreadable, you can attach your home computer monitor and restart the laptop.

If wireless does not work, you can attach the network cable of your home computer.
