Class Rules and Expectations
1. Five (5) points will be deducted from your grade for every class period that you are not prepared for the assignment. Exceptions will be made for illnesses.
2. Talking, fooling around, goofing off will not be tolerated.
3. Audience discussion is considered helpful feedback and constructive criticism, not a vehicle for "getting back" at someone.
4. Plays and Scene books are for everyone. They are not to be removed from my office except with my permission.
5. Anything borrowed form the prop room, the costume room, the workroom or other students must be returned immediately after use.
6. In-Class rehearsal time is to be used for rehearsal only.
7. Grades will reflect not only your work in a particular scene but your improvement and your ability to take direction.
8. At the beginning of each class, students are expected to prepare for class by doing warm-up exercises, both vocally and physically.
9. In selecting material for scenes and workshops, be mindful of your abilities as well as the appropriateness of your choices. Try to avoid material that might offend class members because of their race, religion or nationality. A good rule of thumb: What would Mom say about this?
