Pantomime To Music
![]()
Due Date: Thursday, February 17th
Assignment:
Select a piece of music (any type).
Prepare a pantomime which reflects the MOOD of the music you have selected.
The pantomime must be dramatic, that is; it must tell a story, it must be exaggerated and it must demand our attention.
The pantomime itself need not be involved but it must be exact and specific and precise.
Do not pantomime the words of the song, but rather pantomime the mood and the vision (image).
Grading will be based on your creativity and originality; on the quality of your pantomime movements. These include exaggeration, consistency of weight and size and position, appearance of resistance.
You will be allowed the use of stage props but not personal props (only chairs, tables, benches).
