THEATRE ARTS:

Individual requirements for individual work
Work scheduling: 1. All students are required to take part in play selection or, if needed, playwriting.
2. All students are required to take part in the production whether onstage or behind stage.
3. All students are required to assume an aspect of play production for the final performance.
Grading (first quarter): 25% - Workbook sheets
25% - Class work, including homework assignments
25% - Tests/Quizzes
25% - Class Participation

Grading (second quarter) 45% - Final Production
25% - Workbooks (promptbook with sketches and designs)
20%- Crew and Tech participation
10% - Peer Evaluation
All students and their parents are asked to sign a contract in which they recognize that this is a performance class and requires full commitment to the final children's theatre performance. They must accept the responsibility to attend rehearsals and to completion of their assignment.
