The Requirements of this Class:

bullet

Be Responsible: Do homework, bring materials (the textbook, notebook, folder, pencil, eraser and workbook every day). Bring assignments, participate fully during class, and acknowledge liability when appropriate.

bullet

Follow Directions: Read directions and/or listen to instructions, ask questions if you don't understand.

bullet

Be Considerate: Raise your hand when you wish to contribute something to the class, don't talk while others are speaking, stay on subject at hand, speak clearly and loudly so everyone can hear, actively listen to others when they speak.

bullet

Interact Positively with Others: Be respectful, no cursing, mocking or harassing. Help (don't hurt), even in play. I will not tolerate name-calling or nastiness to each other, even if you say it is in jest; I can't always tell when you're being sarcastic, so just don't say nasty things.

bullet

In addition to these rules, all policies of IHA will be adhered to strictly.

bullet

E-mail me at idunatek@yahoo.com with questions, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

The Homework Policy:

bullet

You should expect homework every day, which should take about 30 minutes.

bullet

To be given credit, homework must be completed thoroughly.

bullet

Generally, the longer the assignments, the more points it is worth.

bullet

Most homework sets are checked at the beginning of class, but not collected. Only major assignments are collected, and this will usually be announced.

Why Should you do Homework?

bullet

More than HALF of your grade is determined by the work that you do AT HOME!

bullet

Homework and class work are the two major sources for quizzes and tests.

bullet

You know how the only saying goes: "Practice makes perfect!"

How do you know what Spanish homework you have each night?

bullet

I will tell you in class.

bullet

It is written on the board each day.

bullet

It is posted on the website.

bullet

You can call a friend.

Late Work...

bullet

Any work not complete when requested will be considered late.

bullet

Daily assignments that are gone over together in class will not be accepted late at all.

bullet

If you are absent from the class for ANY reason, it is your responsibility to talk to me or email me to find out what you missed and make it up immediately.
