To succeed on this test, you must be able to do the following:
- Write the days of the week
- Write dates in French
- Recognize numbers 1-1000
- Tell time and write the time in proper notation
- Describe items in a picture using the expression "il y a" (i.e. Sur le bureau, il y a deux stylos et un ordinateur).
- Indicate where things are located using the following prepositions: sur, devant, sous, derrière, dans, entre, à côté de, près de, loin de (i.e. Le policier est devant la voiture).
- Use possessive adjectives mon, ma, mes, and ton, ta, tes (i.e. C'est ta robe? Oui, c'est ma robe)
- Conjugate the verbs être, avoir, aller, faire, -er, -ir, and -re
