Welcome all to the 2010-2011 School Year!

Students will be subject to all school policies regarding academic honesty, use of uniform, performance, attendance, and respect in the classroom.

Be punctual to classes. If you have been delayed at another class, please bring a pass from the previous teacher. Three unexcused tardies will result in a detention.

Grades will consist of: tests 33%, quizzes 33%, and classroom performance 34% (24% homework assignments and class participation, and 10% oral presentations/projects).

Homework assignments are an essential component of your quarterly grade. If you are absent, you are still responsible for the work assigned. Late work is NOT ACCEPTED.

Students are expected to be prepared to take exams/quizzes on the scheduled dates. Please advise me If you are going to be absent the day of a quiz/test. For each day that you are absent you will have one day to make up your work. It is the STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY to see me about missing work.

Extra Credit WILL NOT be offered.

No food or beverages are allowed, with the exception of water.

Make sure to take care of all your bathroom needs before or after class.

Please turn off all electronic devices: cellular phones, beepers, etc. Cell phones must be OUT OF SIGHT during class or risk confiscation.

Misuse of laptops will be penalized.
