IHA Traffic Safety Squad 

The Traffic Safety Squad is a group that  participates in the Hackensack Medical Center's "Get it Together" seat belt challenge. The

squad also encourages safety for all IHA drivers and passengers throughout the school year. The club is open to all current

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the squad, email Mrs. Skjold tskjold@ihahs.com. Use your school email and include

your home room number in the message. Membership for new members will be open until Friday Oct. 8th. Application for

membership will be open again in the spring.

     Responsibilities include:

1.     Checking for seatbelts

2.   Cell phone usage

3.   Pedestrian violations

4.   Speeding

5.    Disregarding signs

6.   Other random bad driving decisions

7.    Distribution of educational information to the IHA students

8.   PSA on WIHA
