Girls at IHA will be exposed to a full fitness program. The objective for each student will be to learn to live a healthy lifestyle by making healthy choices that will inevitably affect their overall health now and for years to come. A combination of Strength Training and an Aerobic activity is just a small portion of the fitness segment that will be covered during the semester/year. In addition, Health classes will be conducted in a classroom setting to include Drug and Alcohol awareness, nutrition, and emphasis on the diseases that effect women in vast numbers such as heart disease, along with cancers related to the reproductive system, and how leading a healthy lifestyle can reduce the risk of these diseases.
