after school orchestra and jazz band offers the student musician the opportunity to be a part of the iha music ensembles when they are unable to take them as a part of their curriculum. students in these ensembles will perform in the Christmas and spring concerts as well as other engagements throughout the year. all students who are proficient on an instrument are encouraged to take part these extra curricular ensembles.
A Note from the conductor
a musical group can perform only as well as it rehearses, therefore, please make every effort to make all rehearsals. it is imperative that we perform as much as a complete unit as possible. remember, we are a team and your hard work will help every member. your cooperation and dedication are the keys to a successful ensemble.
