4^th Quarter Project – Chastity Brochure

Your assignment will be to create a pamphlet using Microsoft Publisher which aims to inform teens on the message of chastity. Your pamphlet should be a three leaf brochure. There should be a cover page which includes your name. The three panels on the inside of the brochure are yours to design. However, there is some information listed below which is required.

First, you must include a definition of chastity and how it is different from abstinence. Second, you should include at least three reasons why chastity is beneficial. These reasons can be physical, emotional, spiritual, etc… Be creative! You should also give a realistic view of chastity and include at least one difficulty or challenge of chastity. Include in your pamphlet at least three statistics with the sources cited in a “bibliography” on one of the back pages of the pamphlet.

Avoid writing lengthy paragraphs and run on sentences. Your information should be complete, but not overly verbose.

Feel free to be creative with this project and include any photos, quotes, or other information you wish. You will be graded not only on content, but style as well.

Grading will be based on the following:

Did the student use Microsoft Publisher to create a three leaf pamphlet?

Did the student include a cover page with their name on it?

Was the student creative with their design, colors, pictures, quotes, fonts, etc...?

Did the student include the following:

            A definition of chastity and how it differs from abstinence

            Three reasons chastity is beneficial

            One challenge of chastity

            Three statistics

            A bibliography

Due Date – June 6^th – Due at the beginning of class! Anything handed after that will be marked late (5 points for each day late).
